Fans of the Attack On Titan manga and subsequent anime have been waiting for more of the franchise but as many know time has been utilized for the upcoming live-action movie. Now we have an official trailer and it seems to nail that creepy titan look.

The Attack On Titan movie is set up a lot like the anime series that saw a breakdown into two separate ‘movies’. The first half of the season was one movie and the other half was the other. Toho recently announced that the movie’s sequel will be called Attack on Titan: End of the World. Check out the second trailer for the first live-action movie below which was uncovered via Youtuber Imsuperjen.

It seems to capture the correct feel of the franchise and makes hope look very bleak for Eren Yeager and the rest of the Survey Corps. The movie is being written by YÅ«suke Watanabe which fans might know from his work with Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of The Gods.

Attack On Titan is set to release on August 1st 2015 in Japan and part 2 (Attack on Titan: End of the World) is set to release on September 19th. Sadly no dates have been announced for the west as of yet. Hopefully a studio will localize it so the rest of the world gets to enjoy it too.
