Is the Grand Inquisitor in the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Trailer?

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been revealed and fans have been ecstatically happy with the reveal trailer which gave an insight into what the story will be like for the experience. There were also some eagle-eyed folks who thought they spotted the Grand Inquisitor from the new Obi-Wan Kenobi show within the trailer. This article will go over everything that we gathered about who was seen in the trailer and if indeed the Grand Inquisitor may be in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The official trailer shows that Cal’s lightsaber has been acquired by the enemies and in a few shots we observe a character sitting behind a table with clear authority in the world. The box containing the lightsaber is in the hands of this character so fans know that they must have some important significance. Many think that this character may actually be the Grand Inquisitor from Obi-Wan Kenobi. This would certainly give Star Wars fans, even more, to look forward to on release of the game.

Unfortunately, this is not the case as highlighted by an official interview conducted about the trailer. Within the interview, it was noted underneath the image you see on the cover, that “An Imperial senator makes a dangerous deal on Coruscant.” Therefore, it is confirmed that this character is just a senator of the Imperials. So there is no further information as of yet that gives sustenance to the potential of this character being the Grand Inquisitor from the TV show.

Nonetheless, the trailer has captivated many with all of us wanting to dive into the sequel of the previous installment in the series. Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to, time to begin theorizing on everywhere we may get to travel to within the next game! Although the character people were talking about isn’t the Grand Inquisitor. It doesn’t mean that there won’t be other significant characters making a presence in the sequel.

As has been seen before in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, significant characters in the Star Wars universe can appear out of nowhere when you may not be expecting it. This will surely be what occurs for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor equally. The question remains of just how many characters we will get to see from the universe within the sequel. It’s now the time to begin playing through the first game if you haven’t already!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
