Astral Chain: How To Beat Sword Nemesis

Astral Chain starts to throw a number of boss fights at you in a row pretty early in the game. Following the Briareos and Enceladus fights, everybody will lose control of their Legions all of sudden, including yourself. This introduces a fight where you have to take down your own Legion who is now known as Sword Nemesis.

This fight may seem pretty daunting at first, because you will be hamstrung without your Legion. Taking your Legion away means you are dealing less damage and are overall just a lot weaker in combat.

There really isn’t too much of a strategy here against the Sword Nemesis, as it’s hard to dodge attacks here and you really just need to keep on attacking it as much as you can. Eventually you will deal enough damage and an icon will pop up on the screen for you to press A to Bind, which is what you need to do.

This will introduce a cutscene where you will get your Legion back, but the fight itself isn’t quite over. While the Sword Nemesis is down, the fight is still ongoing against the other Legions that your teammates lost. At this point, you are back to full strength with your Legion, now with blue hair even.

To finish this section, just keep attacking each of these Legion head on with all your techniques that you have. Eventually a cutscene will play that has them all fall away and just when you think you are done for, your Legion saves you and takes you to the next area.
