What Are the Best Inferno Catalysts in Lords of the Fallen?

Inferno catalysts are used to cast fire and Rhogar spells, which mainly focus on dealing as much damage as possible. There are six Inferno catalysts in Lords of the Fallen, with three standing out as the best. The three best catalysts are Rhogar Heart, Searing Accusation, and Queen Sophesia’s Catalyst.

Searing Accusation

The Searing Accusation is one of the best Inferno catalysts in Lords of the Fallen because it is easily obtainable early in your playthrough in Skyrest while in the Umbral Realm. It starts with a B- in scaling and 113 spell power, with being able to reach A scaling with 226 spell power when fully leveled up.

It has four spell slots available, allowing you to cast more spells without going into your inventory and changing things up. The Searing Accusation is a catalyst players can get early, and since it is so strong, use it through the end game.

  • Inferno Requirement: 35
  • Start Scaling: B-
  • Max Scaling: A
  • Spell Slots: Four

Rhogar Heart

Rhogar Heart is about as powerful as the Searing Accusation Catalyst, except it has five spell slots and can reach an A+ in scaling. Depending on the player’s Inferno stats, having an A+ in scaling can lead to a character with insane damage output, helping tremendously against the late-game bosses.

Five available spell slots allow different spells that focus on different situations. For example, shout sorcery, apply flame to the sword, crowd control, high damage output, etc. The fact that you can do so much with your build-in creativity and reach an A+ in scaling makes Rhogar Heart one of the best in the game. It also helps that this catalyst only requires 22 in Inferno.

  • Inferno Requirement: 22
  • Start Scaling: C+
  • Max Scaling: A+
  • Spell Slots: Five

Queen Sophesia’s Catalyst

The Queen Sophesia’s Catalyst can reach the highest scaling out of all the Inferno catalysts in Lords of the Fallen. With a maximum S scaling and five available spell slots included, players will want to get their hands on this catalyst as soon as possible.

It’s not the easiest to get, though, as players must complete the Tortured Prisoner questline and defeat her in battle. After defeating her, she will drop Queen Sophesia’s Catalyst. It can take time to meet all the requirements for the Tortured Prisoner questline, but it’s worth it as this is the best end-game Inferno catalyst that can help big time in New Game Plus.

  • Inferno Requirement: 25
  • Start Scaling: B
  • Max Scaling: S
  • Spell Slots: Five
