This should be the first thing on your list if you want to be ready to through Endwalker’s story on day one. This means you will need to play through all the previous expansions and through the story added after the latest expansion.

Level up classes to level 80

While getting through all the current Main Scenario in the game will require at least one class at level 80, it never hurts to have more classes ready to use. This will be exceptionally useful when you need to queue for dungeons during the new expansion since you can change to whatever role has a shorter queue time.

While you will get higher-level gear as you go through Endwalker, it never hurts to be as strong as you can be going into it. You can either farm tomestones and exchange them for gear or you can complete on-level raids to get better gear.

Stockpile crafting materials

For those crafters out there, new expansions can be a gold mine. People will be needing new gear and you will need to craft and sell it to them as soon as possible. While new materials will most likely be needed to craft this new gear, having plenty of common materials on hand will speed up the process. Spend this time gathering as much as you want so you can being making major profits on day one.
