Heal from a campfire is one of the quests from the Ember’s questline in Fortnite Season 8. With the release of the Fortnite 18.30.1 update, Epic has introduced some cool new things like the Icy Grappler weapon, Combat Pistol, and two brand new NPCs. The new arrivals are Ember and Sledgehammer. Just like every NPC, Ember has a brand-new punchcard for you to perform. One of the quests requires you to heal from a campfire in Fortnite Season 8.
Ember was first added to Fortnite in Chapter 1 Season 8 Battle Pass (tier 71). She has now made her entry into Fortnite Season 8, bringing some new challenges. If you haven’t yet found Ember, the NPC lurks around the west of the orchard, located northeast of Corny Crops. Once you accept her punchcard, you can proceed with her quests. Here’s how you can quickly complete the heal from a campfire Ember quest in Fortnite Season 8.
How to Heal From a Campfire in Fortnite Season 8
As her name gives way, our new NPC is quite fond of fire and most of her quests involve fire in one way or another. The final stage of Ember’s Fire Yoga questline is to heal from a campfire. It’s quite a simple quest and can be performed quickly. If you have been playing Fortnite, you might know that campfires are scattered across Fortnite island. For this quest, players only need to heal at one campfire, making the task a whole lot easier.

The best locations to find campfires are near bodies of water or shores. Players can even find different campsites near rivers that come with their own campfire sites. While approaching the quest, one thing to keep in mind is that you will need to have less than 85 health. Anything upwards won’t count. Once you meet the above pre-requisite, simply make your way to the campsite, activate it, gain a bit of health (15 HP) and complete the challenge. Completing this challenge will reward you with 30000 XP. Here is the full list of all the quests in the Ember Fire questline:
- Stage 1: Destroy a fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park (0/1) – 30,000 XP
- Stage 2: Set structures on fire (0/10) – 30,000 XP
- Stage 3: Emote within 5m of a vehicle that’s smoking (0/1) – 30,000 XP
- Stage 4: Ignite an opponent with a firefly jar (0/1) – 30,000 XP
- Stage 5: Heal from a campfire (0/15) – 30,000 XP
