Guardians of the Galaxy Llama Puzzle: How to Move the Llama With Music

Recommended Videos

In Chapter 10 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you’ll find yourself stuck in your room on the Milano. The llama is the Guardians’ only hope. All you have to do is direct it to chew the wires to open the locked doors and free the team. The problem is, you can only move the llama by having each of the Guardians sing. You don’t have direct control over the creature, making this section a bit frustrating if you don’t know what to do. Here’s how to solve the llama music puzzle in Chapter 10 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

How to Solve the Llama Music Puzzle in Guardians of the Galaxy

To break the Guardians out of their rooms, you have to successfully lead the llama to the wires on the northern side of the Milano by singing. Rocket and Gamora’s poor vocal skills will repel the creature, while Star-Lord and Groot’s soothing melodies will attract the llama. To get the llama in the right spot, you’ll have to use all four Guardians in the right order.

Getting the Llama to Chew the Wires

To get the llama to chew the wires, all you really have to do is follow these steps:

  • Use Gamora to push the llama all the way to Rocket.
  • Use Groot to pull the llama to the northern end of the room.
  • Use Star-Lord to pull the llama to the center of the room.
  • When the llama reaches the middle of the couch cushions, use Rocket to push the llama toward the green wires.

If you’ve already moved the llama, then you can just wing it if you know the general plan. The main idea here is to get the llama over to Groot and then call it to Star-Lord so it reaches the middle of the room. Once it’s in the middle, tell Rocket to sing so the llama moves away from him and toward the wires. Once the llama starts to move in between the couches, you’re in the clear.

This part of the game can be frustrating, especially since you don’t have direct control of the llama. Pulling it toward Groot seems like the best idea on paper, so that’s what most people end up doing. It’s also frustrating not knowing that you have to direct the llama between the couches. It’s so specific and the controls aren’t that great. Once you know what to do, though, it’s not that bad.
