How to Move the Damage Number in MultiVersus

Recommended Videos

It’s pretty obvious that MultiVersus takes a lot of inspiration from other platforms fighters like Super Smash Bros, but the damage percentage number is attached to the bottom of the characters instead of elsewhere on the screen. Some people aren’t too appreciative of this change and want to move the damage percentage number to a different part of the screen so they can focus on the action. Thankfully, the MultiVersus UI is fairly customizable and this number can be moved to a few different places. Here’s how you can move the damage percentage number from the bottom of your MultiVersus fighter to somewhere else onscreen.

How to Move the Damage Percentage Number in MultiVersus

To move the damage percentage number somewhere else, go to the game’s settings menu. Then, navigate to the Interface section. There, you can change the Damage Position setting from Player to Scoreboard, which will move the percentage number to the top of the screen by the character icons. If you want the percentages at the bottom of the screen, then change the scoreboard position from the same menu.

In this menu, you can also change several other aspects of the UI for MultiVersus. You can move your character’s cooldown information and name to the scoreboard as well, and you can also change the outline colors for yourself, the enemy team, and your allies if you want.

Moving the information to the scoreboard is the best bet, however, and most players will likely end up doing so to make the game more similar to Smash, Brawlhalla, or other existing platform fighters. MultiVersus will be released in 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
