One of the features in Kingdom Hearts 3 is the ability to take pictures and selfies with your phone.  The item that you’ll need is called the Gummiphone.  This items is given to you before you reach the Neighborhood area.  Once you have the camera you can access it at any time by pressing the view “back” button on the Xbox One controller or the Touch Pad on the PlayStation 4 controller.

Once in this menu you have the options of taking a normal picture or a selfie by pressing the A/Cross button.  You can also hide the UI by pressing the X/Square Button.  To make Sora smile you can press the the LB/L1 button when in Selfie mode.  You can also zoom in and out using the phone by pressing the RT/R2 and LT/L2 triggers.

You can store up to 100 pictures in your camera, but there is actually a warning once you start taking pictures.  If for whatever reason you remove Kingdom Hearts 3 from your system you will lose the photos that you’ve taken.

The Gummiphone isn’t just for taking pictures with your favorite categories in Kingdom Hearts 3, you can also find hidden Lucky Emblems in the game.  These emblems, like the one below showing Mickey Mouse ears is one that must be taken correctly.  You’ll know if you have the photo framed right if the box around the emblem is yellow.

If you’re playing Kingdom Hearts 3 and have yet to get the camera, you will get it pretty shortly into the game.
