If you’re asking this question then you probably already know where the Mermaid Statue is, but in case you don’t it’s right near the bottom of Martha’s Bay. This is the middle of the map near the bottom ocean, so head there whenever you want to check it out. It rests on a cliff above Catfish Maw, which is pretty much where you need to go to get to the Mermaid Statue itself.
Yes, you can’t just walk up to this thing, you need a special item. The hookshot to be specific. Which is found within the Catfish Maw dungeon.
