Mortal Kombat 11: How To Earn Koins Fast

Recommended Videos

Mortal Kombat started as simply a gory fighter back in the day, but it has grown to be so much more over the years. One of the best additions in the past was known as The Krypt, which allowed you to pay in-game currency known as Koins to unlock chests with a variety of different items. The Krypt is back yet again in Mortal Kombat 11 and is more expansive than ever, which means you are going to need plenty of Koins. This guide will go over some of the best ways to earn Koins quickly in Mortal Kombat 11.

How To Earn Coins Fast In Mortal Kombat 11

First of all, go to The Krypt when you get a chance and after the introduction, open the chests in the first area to get 100,000 Koins very quickly. This gives you a good jumpstart on opening chests, but it certainly won’t last too long. This means you will have to find alternative means of earning Koins instead.

Playing through The Krypt further and solving various puzzles and such is a good means of getting some Koins to add to your collection, with some areas rewarding you with some major dough. While doing all of this, there is also something else you can do in the Krypt to pick up Koins here and there. Once you get Shao Kahn’s hammer in the Palace Entrance, start smacking it around as you walk around in the various locations in the Krypt to destroy vases, skeletons, and more. You may not get a ton of Koins by doing this, but it adds up as you are going around and opening chests and why would you turn down free Koins for doing next to nothing?

Towers of Time will reward you with Koins for completing certain tasks, so it’s a good idea to look at those from the start. On top of that, it’s good to pick the limited time Towers and do as much as you can. By doing this, you can hopefully place in the higher percentiles and get Koins as a reward. This will force you to wait till the Towers expire, but they can be very rewarding if you time it right. There are also some nice Koin rewards for completing the Klassic Towers as well, though the biggest rewards are only for the first time you complete them.

Completing Dragon Challenges in Towers can also reward you with Koins at a fairly rapid pace as well, so keep an eye out for those when they pop up. These are small tasks presented in battle, such as crouching four times or landing five back kicks. You have time limits to complete these, so try to get as many as you can whenever possible as they can start to add up.

Besides these recommendations, really the best advice to earn Koins is to just keep playing. It can be a bit of a grind at times, but the Koins will eventually add up and allow you to get some really cool items in the Krypt, including skins and Fatalities.
