A brand new Halloween Pass 2 is coming to Red Dead Online and Rockstar Games have a ton of other things planned for players during this year’s Halloween event. Rockstar finally shared some juicy intel about this year’s Halloween event coming to the Wild West in a recent newswire. The event will have some seasonal All Hallows’ Call to Arms modes.

These modes will include alligators, cougars and a mysterious ghost train terrorizing the town of Armadillo. Surviving the tenth wave of any All Hallows’ Call to Arms mode will compensate you with 2,000 Club XP. This can be used to obtain the Red Dead Online Halloween Pass 2. According to Rockstar, the Halloween Pass in Red Dead Online is “a purchasable, limited-time upgrade packed with grim and gruesome rewards spread across 15 ranks, running through November 22.” But is it worth your hard-earned XP?

Should you get the Halloween Pass 2 in Red Dead Online?

The Halloween Pass 2 in Red Dead Online can be thought of as a Battle Pass, but instead of being season-specific, this pass is meant for the Red Dead Online Halloween event. Starting October 28, you or any Red Dead Online player can purchase the said pass with the 2,000 Club XP won in the All Hallows’ Call to Arms mode.

The pass will be valid till November 22 and will have 15 ranks. Each rank will, in turn, have a variety of rewards for players to redeem. While the developers have not mentioned anything specific about the rewards, players can expect Halloween-themed cosmetics and accessories. Additionally, Rockstar has even said, “players who purchased all four installments of The Quick Draw Club will receive a Reward to get the Halloween Pass 2 for free. This week, all players who own the Halloween Pass 2 will be rewarded with a free Stable Slot and a select Shirt (up to Rank 15).”

Whether the Halloween Pass 2 in Red Dead Online is worth it or not is purely subjective and will vary from player to player. The current pass might have some gothic items and other exclusive cosmetics that might attract some players. Rockstar has even added some free things to attract buyers. However, the current pass and the items do not look that much attractive and seem a bit over expensive. There are no special items announced for this year’s pass either. Apart from the pass, the developers are also discounting items this week like Role outfits by 35%, Gun Belts by 40%, and haircuts, dentistry, and makeup have seen a price cut of 50%.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
