Resident Evil 2 Remake How to Escape Tyrant

The Tyrant will pursue you through numerous parts of Resident Evil 2.  There are a couple of very different ways to escape the Tyrant.  This guide will explain how to escape from this big monster that keeps following you throughout the game.

The Tyrant can be dealt with in a couple of ways.  The first is to simply run away from him.  Assuming you have a clear path to do so, you should be able to just keep your distance from the powerful enemy if you keep moving.  You run faster than him, so as long as you keep moving away from the Tyrant you should be able to lose him.  Eventually, he will fall off of your trail.  You will still hear him stomping around though.  The louder the footsteps sound, the closer the Tyrant is to finding you again.

The second way to escape the Tyrant, and a more reliable way of dealing with him is dealing enough attack damage to the monster to make him take a knee and stop following you. You cannot kill the Tyrant in the early goings of Resident Evil 2, but you can slow him down with enough fire power.  If you concentrate different ammo types of the enemy he will eventually stop coming after you.

This is all just a temporary fix though.  The Tyrant will pop up numerous times along the course of Resident Evil 2 Remake and you’ll need to deal with it in one of these ways.
