Throughout all of Resident Evil 2, Leon and Claire will be surrounded by enemies. Even if you put them down with a few bullets to the head, zombies can and do get back up. If they’re behind you, it can be extra tough to take them out. You need to turn around, and turn around quickly. Thankfully, there’s a way to do it. Here’s how to quick turn in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

If you’ve got a zombie sneaking up behind you that needs some extra bullets to the dome, all you have to do is hold back on the left analog stick and press B on Xbox One, or circle on PS4. This will make your character do a complete 180, facing the opposite direction of wherever they were heading before. Using this, you can stay on your toes and keep those monsters at bay.

Quick turn has always been a big part of the Resident Evil experience. Capcom loves putting enemies in the worst places possible, in terms of you actually staying alive. This is even worse/better in Resident Evil 2 Remake, where the enemies love to play dead on you. Firing a few headshots often means you’ve dispatched the threat, but it can also just set up a trap for yourself later. Being able to quick turn really helps keep those threats in check.

And that’s how to quick turn in Resident Evil 2 Remake.
