A new season of Fortnite is upon us, and with it comes a brand new week of challenges alongside a new theme and map updates. As is the case when a new week of challenges begins, there is a new secret star to find in Fortnite. This week’s Secret Star can be tracked down AFTER you’ve completed the other Season 8 Week 1 Challenges in Fortnite. Once again, players will get a brand new loading screen once they’ve completed challenges and then you can use that screen as a clue to find the Secret Star.
Without further ado, let’s find the Secret Star in Fortnite Season 8 Week 1.
Fortnite Secret Star Location Season 8 Week 1
As you can see in the image above, the Secret Star is located on top of a building in the new pirate-themed area. So where is this secret star location on the Fortnite map? You’ll want to head to the new Lazy Lagoon area to find the Secret Star. The star is on top of the white building just across from the pirate ship docked in the Lazy Lagoon. You’ll find the Secret Star in quadrant G3 in the town area due east of the boat.
You will need to have completed the other challenges to get this star in Season 8 Week 1. These challenges include Visiting Pirate Camps, Searching Chests, Dealing Damage with Shotguns and Explosive Weapons, as well as finding a giant face in different locations on the map, using volcano vents, and others.
