Skyrim Switch Guide: How to Run
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch is a great game. The port is solid, and the added ability to take the game anywhere is simply fantastic. While the performance isn’t as polished as is seen on other platforms, the Switch handles the game surprisingly well. One of the few drawbacks is a bit of a cumbersome default control scheme, that can be confusing to players expecting something else. One thing that was frustrating was figuring out how to run in Skyrim for Switch, so here’s the answer…
Press L, which can be found above the left trigger (ZL). This is the default run button as set up in the menu. Of course, you can rebind this button as you see fit. Clicking the left thumbstick is often used for running, but in Skyrim it is instead crouch. It might be a good idea to swap these if you find the default options a bit off from what you’d expect.
Now that you know how to run in Skyrim for Switch, you might want to know more, such as how to turn on/off the motion controls that offer some benefit, but with a decent amount of frustration. Click here to find out.
