Super Smash Bros. Ultimate How to Unlock Zelda in World of Light

Recommended Videos

Unlocking Zelda in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s World of Light can be a bit tricky, so here’s what to do if you’re having trouble. Keep in mind that this article containers spoilers for World of Light, as you can only unlock Zelda after you’ve defeated antagonist Galeem.

After defeating Galeem, you will be taken out of the World of Light and into a new, dark world. Travel down the path to the bottom left, and you’ll eventually come to a transport panel that will take you to an area called Sacred Land, which is a largely Zelda-themed area. Go to the bottom left of this area and you’ll come to a large circle with twelve blue torches around it, and another ring of red torches inside that, resembling a clock. The first thing you’ll want to do is light the torches to correspond with what time it is in real life. You’ll probably have to round a little bit; for example, if it’s 12:28, just set the clock to 12:30. Do this by treating the outer ring of blue torches as the long hand of a clock and the inner ring of red torches as the short hand. So for 12:30, you would light the topmost red torch and the bottommost blue torch. Next, you’ll want to head north of this clock area, where an owl statue will tell you to set the clock to 12:10. Achieve this by lighting the topmost red torch and the blue torch just above the rightmost blue torch. This will cause the Spirit of Impa to appear in the center of the clock.

Fight the Spirit of Impa and win. This will cause the rock in the bottom left corner to disappear, paving the way for you to challenge Zelda. You’ll have to challenge another Spirit first, but then you’ll be able to fight Zelda and unlock her, allowing you to play as her in World of Light, as well as the rest of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
