The Division 2 is all about hooking up with your friends to take on the various enemies scattered around DC. One of the best ways to do this is by creating or joining a clan. While this is possible in the game, it’s locked away behind a few things that aren’t immediately clear to the player. This includes exactly when you can create a clan and how. To help out here’s a quick guide on how to create a clan in The Division 2.

The option to create a clan doesn’t open up until partway through the main mission. After you complete a few of them you’ll unlock a specific NPC who manages clan activity. This is Grace Larson and she is found and unlocked at the Theater Settlement once you’ve completed the requisite main story missions.

Once you finish them and recruit Grace Larson just head back to the White House to the ground floor of the East Wing to find her. Chat with her and you’ll be able to create your own clan or join any that are available to you. Each clan must have at least four members, so be sure to throw some friends in if you’re looking to start a brand new one. Otherwise just join one that is already available. You’ll definitely want to do this as clans unlock specific achievements/trophies.

That’s all there is to know about how to create a clan in The Division 2.
