The Last Guardian Guide: How To Get Out Of The Cage

by Damian Seeto

When you are inside of the cage, the evil beast is out to get you. It may seem like a useless cause, but fear not. There is way to get out of the cage and you have to be really patient.

When the evil beast runs away for some reason, you are stuck in the cage by yourself. Just keep rolling the cage around, although don’t quit the game or restart the checkpoint. You just have to be patient during this sequence in order for a cutscene to ensue.

After the cutscene is over, you need to roll over again and be patient again. Whatever you do, don’t quit or restart the checkpoint. It may seem like a long time, but just keep waiting until another cutscene loads up.

If you’ve made it this far, the second cutscene shows Trico digging in. Hooray, Trico is sure to help you out. Trico will try and roll your cage onto a ramp. From there, you want to roll off the ledge and keep tumbling down.

There are multiple levels to get through in this sequence. Just keep rolling around until you get to the room with the blue lights with the other cage there. You want to roll the cage onto the other side so the blue light illuminates again. Once it lights up, the cage will open up and you are finally out of it.

In order to progress afterwards, you need to give Trico a barrel because he gets tired. To get the barrel, you want to get the Knight’s helmet and put it inside the second cage. Head downstairs to revive the Knight with the helmet you got. When he exits the room, there should be a barrel behind him. Try and get the barrel to Trico while trying to avoid the Knight. Good luck!
