Remember 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Vanillaware’s upcoming adventure game announced back at Tokyo Game Show 2015? Well, the game is showing signs of life once again, this time in the form of a small, but potentially significant update.
Specifically, the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea rated 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Prologue.
The title actually receiving a rating after all this time means that not only is the game not dead — something which you wouldn’t necessarily be faulted for thinking since there hasn’t been a legitimate update in over a year — but the fact that “Prologue” is included in the title suggests that publisher Atlus and developer Vanillaware is planning on releasing a demo.
Unfortunately, the rating doesn’t provide much info beyond the potential coming of a demo, leaving us with the same level of understanding that we’ve had since November when it was announced the title wouldn’t be coming to the PlayStation Vita or no longer release in 2018.
That said, hopefully this development will be a sign of things to come, as more info will likely be shared if a demo is indeed on its way.
