343 Industries gave some clarification on a rumor regarding Halo 5: Guardians’ Limited Edition that was reported earlier this week.
Gamestop Italy posted more images from Halo 5: Guardians’ Limited Edition earlier this week. They posted a cool image of a figurine of Spartan Locke that will be included. People wanted to know if the figure posted was legit. Spartan Locke was decked out in a silver chrome outfit.
343 Industries studio head, Josh Holmes answered on twitter: “I can confirm: no pics of the statue have been released yet.”
This means the images that Gamestop Italy posted are probably concept art on what the Halo 5: Guardians statue might look like. Microsoft is sure to post real images of the statue later in the year.
Holmes also confirmed an obvious statement that Halo 5: Guardians is far from being completed yet. One eager fan asked him if the game has turned gold yet. Holmes said that development is still ongoing and that there is still a way to go until the game is finished.
Even though Halo 5: Guardians is still in development, 343 Industries is still on track to finish the game before its October 27th release date. There have been no signs that the game has to be delayed until 2016.
