Some of the most promising features of the Nintendo 3DS are still yet to launch for the device. Among those, the DSiWare transfer, web browser, and eShop have been promised to be on their way. Though it looks like things may have hit a minor snag. Nintendo of Japan has recently announced that the eShop firmware update has been delayed until June.
The new date is June 6th for the eShop update, and for those that are playing along at home, this happens to be the night before Nintendo’s E3 press event. The eShop features could be a big selling point, and Nintendo may be looking to make a splash with a reveal at the convention to get maximum exposure for the features with a captive audience on hand at the show.
