A TikTok video showing a weird object inside a bag of Walmart cheese puffs has gotten over a million views. People are trying to figure out what it could be, and many are completely grossed out.
According to Bro Bible, the woman who posted the video on TikTok, Jill, said she got groceries delivered from Walmart. When her kids got home from school, they wanted a snack. She opened up a bag of Great Value cheese puffs and gave some to one of her daughters. But then her other daughter saw something odd in the bag, so they poured everything out.
What her daughter found inside will horrify you. There was a long, curved thing covered in orange cheese dust. It definitely did not look like a cheese puff. “This is what was in our bag of cheese puffs,” Jill said. “I think it’s a snake. What do you guys think?”
This looks super gross
Jill tried calling the store that night but nobody picked up. The phone just kept ringing and then she got disconnected. She called back the next morning and got through to someone around 9am. They told her she had to come to the store in person to make a report and bring photos.
When Jill showed up at Walmart during her lunch break, she learned something shocking. Store workers already knew about the issue from the night before because it had been posted on Facebook. But the cheese puffs were still sitting on the shelves, even the ones with the same lot number as hers.
She made her complaint anyway. Her husband called Walmart corporate too, and she also called the health department. Later that night after church, her husband went back to check on things. This time, all the cheese puffs had been taken off the shelves. This isn’t the first time Walmart has faced viral controversy over its products.
Jill found out that another person in her town bought the same cheese puffs and found something similar in their bag too. She made videos showing herself breaking the object apart to see what was inside. It broke pretty easily, but she still had no idea what it was. Some people think it might be a snake, but the object does not have bones, a head, or a tail. People left all kinds of comments with their thoughts.
One person said she should save a sample in a bag and get it tested for free before getting lawyers involved. Someone else who said they handle snakes wrote, “as someone with experience handling snakes… yeah. that looks like a snake. for the love of all things holy is there a customer service number on that bag???” But other people disagreed. One person said, “I think Wal-Mart is paying people to comment that it isn’t a snake.”
Some people told Jill she should sue, but she said no. “As long as my daughter who ate some puffs from the bag doesn’t end up with any issues, there isn’t a need for a lawsuit,” she explained. “We don’t need any compensation. It’s just wild! And definitely needs looked into.” The whole thing shows how snack-related TikTok videos continue to go viral, though this situation is way more serious than most food videos.
