Sony was in the middle of shipping out copies of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but some thieves got to it first. Be wary of where you get early copies of the game.

Sony made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog as Shuhei Yoshida said: “We have some unfortunate news to report that a number of copies of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End were stolen while in transit. While we are continuing to work with the police to resolve the matter – which is the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation – it appears that a few copies of the game have surfaced in the UK.

Some people have already obtained early copies of the game already thanks to Amazon UK releasing the game on its original April 26th release date. They did not get the memo that the real release date is now May 10th.

You may have to be careful as people that have got the game already have uploaded a few videos on YouTube. Naughty Dog has taken down several videos already, but more can always surface.

If you see some copies of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End pop up for sale on eBay, be wary of where it came from. Some of them could be from Amazon, while others could be the stolen copies.
