After the success of Crash Bandicoot in the 90s, Naughty Dog’s foray into the 2000s with the PlayStation 2 was the platforming series Jak and Daxter. The games in this series are purchasable digitally on the PS3, but now physical copies are coming to the PS4.

It was recently announced on the official PlayStation blog that all four games in the Jak and Daxter series will be released in both Standard and Collector’s Edition physical forms for PlayStation 4. Limited Run Games is working on these new versions, which will only be available for a limited time; only 5000 Standard Edition and 2500 Collector’s Edition copies will be made for each game. The first game in the series, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, is available to purchase today (December 7) and is expected to sell out quickly, but a second batch (2500 Standard Editions and 1250 Collector’s Editions) will go on sale later today at 3:00pm PST/6:00pm EST.

The Standard Edition costs $24.99 while the Collector’s Edition costs $74.99 and will include several collectibles, such as a Precursor Orb replica, a trading card set, the game’s soundtrack, a memory card-shaped USB drive, a poster, and a “design archive” containing concept art of the game. Those who order either edition now can expect to receive it by February 28, 2019. The PS4 Standard and Collector’s Editions for Jak IIJak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing will be available to order soon and will arrive by June 30, 2019. Fans who order all four games will also receive a mock case for the hypothetical game Jak 4, which will include a code for a PS4 theme based on concept art for a fourth mainline Jak and Daxter game that never ended up happening. This mock case is expected to ship sometime in the second half of 2019.
