Two months ago we reported on the rumor about Nvidia GPUs offering up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for free with select purchases (which turned out to be true), and now AMD looks to be firing back with their own bundle. Head over to Newegg and you will find that nearly all R200-series GPUs have a free gift tied to them.
Most models up to the R9 280x will net you a free copy of Dirt Rally, currently an Early Access title. Certain R9 290 and 290X selections will grant access to the aforementioned game in addition to Rockstar’s recent PC release of GTA V. That’s a total value of $95 that sits nicely besides the already competitively priced graphics cards.
AMD has yet to officially announce this pairing. So chances are Newegg let this one slip a little early. We should be hearing from the company directly in the coming days about the exact details of the promotion.
