Bandai Namco Unleashes Godzilla Video Game Trailer

Bandai Namco has now released the Godzilla PS3 trailer out to the wild.

It was reported earlier this week that Godzilla would be getting his own PS3 game later this year. It would be out in Japan this Winter, but no North American or European release was mentioned yet. It’s possible Bandai Namco will release Godzilla outside of Japan since the 2014 movie has reintroduced Western audiences to the character again.

The first trailer shows what fans actually want to see. That is playing as Godzilla and breaking a lot of things. Godzilla himself is playable and can destroy things with ease. He can even use his cool fire breath in the game too.

It looks like the game is not based on the 2014 Godzilla movie in any fashion. The beast’s design is more akin to the original Japanese version and not the big fat one people saw in the 2014 movie. At least you get to be Godzilla in the game and not just playing as a soldier on the ground.
