The Blu-ray for Batman vs Superman will have over 2 hours of special features on top of the already long 3 hour extended cut. This is good news for those that want to watch the movie more than one time.
A listing from Swedish retailer, CDON.com, shows that the special features for Batman vs Superman are 2 hours. It says: Disc 1: Theatrical Version (Includes 120 minutes with bonus features), Disc 2: Extended Version (181 min R-rated)
Sadly, we may have to wait to see what the actual special features are for the film. There’s likely to be an extensive look on the history of the production of the film plus info on the many comic books that inspired it. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll know The Dark Returns is a big influence as well as a Superman comic I will not name.
It was mentioned not too long ago that the original cut for the film was over 4 hours long. It will be interesting to see if the Blu-ray includes some of the scenes that aren’t even in the 3 hour version too. The extra scenes may have helped explain more about the characters as the theatrical cut seemed choppy at parts.
