In this latest video interview for Battlefield 3, Patrick Soderlund of Electronic Arts discusses many of the small changes that DICE has made to the game that add up to the experience that is Battlefield 3.  Soderlund discusses how DICE examined other first person shooters on the market today which include their own Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Halo, and Call of Duty, to add the small things that are missing from modern first person shooters.

As you can see in the video below, there are plenty of small new enhancements that DICE has made to the game to provide a more realistic experience than ever before.  From the incredible destructible environments that the Frostbite 2 engine provides, to the smallest environmental details, gamers are in for a treat when Battlefield 3 launches this October.
