While the expertise at DICE is largely responsible for the impressive visuals found in the Battlefield 4 reveal from last month, AMD has confirmed their newest Radeon HD 7990 was the graphics card pushing the demo.

Handling all that Frostbite 3 goodness, the AMD Radeon HD 7990 is apparently DICE’s “graphics card of choice,” according to Simon Ng, a product marketing engineer at AMD. This is no budget card, the AMD Radeon HD 7990 is $1000 dollar piece of hardware, and it’s got the specs to back it up. AMD boasts in a recent press release that the 7990 can handle all of the latest games at 4K.

DICE made big waves with the Battlefield 4 reveal, polarizing some of the critics and journalists on hand to witness the demo in action. While some asked for more, like multiplayer gameplay, it was a stage set for just a single player showing.

An unbelievably good looking single player showing, showcasing what DICE is capable of with the increased specs on next-gen consoles, and of course PCs with high-end cards like the 7990. If you missed the Fishing in Baku trailer, set aside 17 minutes and take a look, below.
