The reveal of Battlefield V is set for May 23rd, 2018. After an easter egg was discovered in Battlefield 1 that led to the discovery of the date. Electronic Arts has confirmed that the reveal will be happening in less than two weeks with their very own website announcing the event.
Over at EA.com, the date is listed for May 23rd with the url reading “Never be the same.” What will be revealed on that date is still very much unknown at this point. While there have been numerous leaks and rumors regarding the next Battlefield game, Electronic Arts nor DICE has revealed any of the details regarding Battlefield V.
A handful of previous rumors suggested that the game would be set during WWII. There have been other leaks/speculation that the game would be a third game in the Bad Company branch of the franchise. Others have said that the game will be a Bad Company Battlefield game set during WWII.
Regardless, it won’t be long before we hear more about the next Battlefield game. Battlefield V is set for reveal later this month, just after the reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. In just a couple weeks we’ll have a good picture of what to expect from this fall’s big shooters and hopefully more details regarding both franchises which have had rumors of Battle Royale modes being included for the first time.
