PS3 Skyrim fans shouldn’t be quick to throw in the towel on Skyrim Dawnguard just yet.  Although it’s not looking good for the first expansion to arrive on the PS3 due to quality concerns, Bethesda’s PR department is insistent that the development team “hasn’t given up on” on the delivery of the DLC.

“We haven’t give up.  What we said last week still stands,” said Pete Hines via Twitter.  What Bethesda said last week wasn’t reassuring to Skyrim fans that play exclusively on the PlayStation 3.  Essentially the team at Bethesda confirmed that they were still having problems getting the content up to par on all platforms.

“We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make Dawnguard good for everyone,” Bethesda said via Bethblog.  Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 just received it’s latest bout of DLC for Skyrim in Hearthfire.  The new DLC allows players to build a home and craft new items for said home’s interior and exterior.   Bethesda hasn’t even begun talking about the possibility of Hearthfire on the PS3 at this point.
