Black Ops 2 Double XP for Season Pass holders this weekend

Black Ops 2 players who ponied up for the Season Pass will get Double XP this weekend as a token of appreciation from Treyarch.  Starting at 10am PDT on October 11th, 2013, both Double XP and Double Weapon XP will run for the entire weekend and end on October 14th at 10am PDT.

This Double XP weekend for Black Ops 2 is the first of its kind from Treyarch and the developers say “it was an appropriate way to show our appreciation to those that committed to the season pass.”

Double XP weekends will net you double the experience points for all actions performed in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, allowing players to rank up twice as fast.  Double Weapon XP allows players to rank up their guns and other weapons at twice the pace.  Look for the promotion to start later today.
