Call of Duty’s Black Ops 2 Double XP weekend has begun. Activision doesn’t even need a reason anymore, or at least a good one, to give players the opportunity to collect some Double XP. This one is in response to the release of new gun skins for the shooter, and a patch that pretty much prompted death threats on Treyarch developers.
The Double XP Event will last from today until Monday at 10am PST, allowing players to score 2x the points for all their in-game accomplishments.
This won’t likely be the last of its kind, PlayStation 3 and PC players will be getting their hands on the latest DLC in early August, and that’ll likely be the next celebratory event to give players the Double XP experience. On the brightside, if you’ve been looking to level your arguably meaningless prestige rank all the way to max-level, now would be a good time to start.
Haven’t had a chance to check out the new Personalization Packs that were put up for purchase on the Call of Duty in-game store? Here you go..
