Blade & Soul, from developer NCSoft, is one of the most popular MMORPGS in the world. But until now, players in Europe and North America were left out of the party. But now they may just have a chance to try out Blade & Soul for themselves when the MMORPG launches this winter for Europe and North America.

Currently available in China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan, the game takes place in a world that features a fusion of various Asian cultures. With martial arts and action based combat, the appeal is clear. It’s been one of the most anticipated MMORPGS in both Europe and North American since Blade & Soul launched in 2012.

A closed beta will be available for European and North American players to enjoy this fall. Should players wish to potentially participate in the closed beta, they’re urged to visit the game’s official website. When the game launches this winter, expect the game to be localized into German, France, and English, including full voice-overs.

Expect more information about the game to come out as we edge closer to the European and North American release date this winter. Johns Burns, senior vice president of publishing at NCSoft West, sums it up well: “This is a tremendous opportunity to bring one of the most successful and fun online games in Asia to our Western audience this winter.”
