Borderlands 2 items dupe glitch finds it way to Xbox 360 and PS3

A new Borderlands 2 item dupe glitch has found its way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. While you might not want your Borderlands 2 experience to be tainted with the cheat, it’s execution is fairly straight forward an easy to do, in either the offline or online cooperative modes of the game.

First, players must be in an area where auto saving doesn’t happen. If you meet this criteria, the host can freely give items to other players in the game. The giftee will then leave the game and save his progress with all of the items. The host can simply exit the game by using powering down the system and returning to the XMB or Xbox Dashboard.

Gearbox has yet to comment on whether they plan on addressing the item dupe glitch in future updates, but until then here’s a gameplay video that shows you the system at work.
