Bravely Second: End Layer North American Release Announced

Nintendo fans likely already know that Nintendo held a surprise North American Nintendo Direct on the heels of yesterdays Japanese centric Nintendo Direct. A few bits of news came out of it, and one important one was a release window for Bravely Second: End Layer.

JRPG fans can now rejoice knowing that Bravely Second is coming to North America and it appears that the game will be published by Nintendo. The brand new story, new protagonist and all-new characters will combine to create a new JRPG experience that even those who haven’t played Bravely Default can get beind. Those who have though, are said to expect returning characters and a few surprises the developers have instore for fans.

The highly strategic fan-favorite battles return to offer challenge to players who will take control of a brave knight to rescue a familiar character from the original Bravely Default. Check out the video below for a short tease regarding the upcoming sequel, Bravely Second: End Layer.

Bravely Second: End Layer is set to release exclusively on Nintendo 3DS in 2016. Not a bad little surprise, more announcements are due in the coming weeks from Nintendo as we draw closer to E3 so stay tuned.
