Ah, The Sims 4. Will there be a better way to create a relatively realistic life superior to your own? Not for anyone who loves gaming and managing every detail of someone else’s existence. Trailers for the upcoming launch from EA are showcasing the upgraded capabilities of The Sims 4, first in character creation mode and now in home building mode.
This trailer details how you can build and customize a home almost to specification using simple interactive tools, often with one click. There are a lot of options for look, style, size, and accents, some of which can even be altered after they’re in place and in use. Customizing characters and their homes looks much simpler in these trailers with a wider array of options but we’ll have to wait to find out how well these upgrades work in actual game play.
There will be more on this at E3 but we won’t get our hands on The Sims 4 until late 2014 and not on consoles. That doesn’t mean you PC gamers can’t start preparing to obsess over every minute detail of your Sims now.
