Running from now until November 9th, Destiny players will celebrate Halloween with the Festival of the Lost. Â Players will need to collect candy from Tower vendors, and will offer three additional questlines. Â Furthermore, three new dance emotes will be added for purchase at the Eververse Trading Co. Â Boo (300 Silver), Monster Dance (500 Silver), and Zombie Dance (700 Silver) are available now.
The Tower has been redecorated for this event, and there are a number of festival exclusive items that have varying effects that can be found below. Â During the event players can also earn masks of a couple different varieties. Â Some will expire at the end of the festival, while others can be upgraded for permanent use. Â Treasures of the Lost Chests have been rewarding masks, and doing Eva’s new quests will also reward you with Gifts of the Lost which rewards you with a random blue mask. Â Once you have received this mask from Eva, you can then wear it and kill enemies while on missions to earn candy, which can then be turned in for more masks.
Some players are reporting wearable masks for popular characters like Xur, Crota, Eris, The Cryptarch, and more.
These masks are definitely a hot item with Destiny players, and it’s unclear just how many different masks are out there and unlockable.
