Microsoft says that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be better on Xbox One, and they’ve got reason to think so. The company just announced that Call of Duty: Ghosts will have dedicated servers on the Xbox One, a feature that many have been asking for, for quite some time.
The game which has been run by p2p connections on consoles has often caught a bad rap for being “laggy”. According to Microsoft, Call of Duty: Ghosts will use the Xbox Live Cloud hosting to provide dedicated servers for multiplayer matches, “ensuring the best multiplayer experience will be on Xbox One.”
In case you needed to be reminded, Xbox One and Xbox 360 will also still continue to get all of the Call of Duty DLC ahead of anyone else. That’s been more than enough reason for many players to switch over to the Xbox 360 this generation, and quite frustrating for Call of Duty players on the PC and PlayStation 3.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is due for the Xbox 360 in early November, and is expected at launch for the Xbox One.
