With the apparent leak that a Modern Warfare Remaster is coming with the release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Amazon has now put up a peculiar listing for a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy.

The listing can be seen by visiting Amazon UK.  It doesn’t say much other than “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy” and it’s being published by Activision Classics. This could mean they are just bundling up the games into one pack.

If you scroll down the page, it shows a release date of May 17th, 2016. This falls on a Tuesday, which is the day that most games come out in North America. This could mean the date is more than just a simple placeholder, although retailers have been wrong about this type of thing in the past.

We’re not sure what this listing actually means, but Activision is sure to make a lot of announcements very soon. The Modern Warfare series is still the most popular set of the games in the entire franchise. They might be re-releasing the games in order to get back the fans they may have lost over the years.

As for Infinite Warfare, that game is rumored to come out on November 4th, 2016. The rumors suggest it will be set up in space which would be a big change for the series.
