A new campaign has been started by Activision, Treyarch, and charity organizer Omaze that lets you have a chance to become a zombie in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The winner will have their face scanned and entered into the game as a zombie model, immortalizing them within the Call of Duty universe.
That’s not all though, the entire package reads “”You and friend will fly to Hollywood, crash the top-secret offices of Treyarch Studios, meet the designers and more! Afterwards, Team Treyarch will turn your likeness into a bloodthirsty zombie for the latest chapter of the Call of Duty franchise, where you’ll terrorize millions of gamers across the globe…forever.”
If you want to win you’ll have to give some money, but proceeds are going to a very worthy cause, The Call of Duty Endowment. “The Call of Duty Endowment is a nonprofit organization that gets veterans back to work by funding high-impact organizations that prepare veterans for the job market. Every $1,000 raised for the Endowment helps a veteran get a good job. With the unemployment rate for the youngest returning veterans over 17%, the Call of Duty Endowment is proud to have helped over 12,000 veterans start new careers.”
Entries start at $10 and go up to $50,000 with various prizes sprinkled throughout. These include T-shirts, in-game rewards, the Juggernog mini-fridge from the Collector’s Edition signed by the developers, and many more. Each dollar you give increases your chances of winning, while helping vets get back to work.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on November 6th.
