The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Beta is fast-approaching and Treyarch has revealed a new trailer to highlight some of the features fans should expect in the trial.  First off, Black Ops 3 Beta players will be able to unlock weapons, perks, equipment, and scorestreaks, just like you can in the base game.  Apparently, these unlocks won’t carry over to the full release.  The beta will also feature a whopping “7+” multiplayer modes across three maps.  The names of which would be included was not revealed.
Since Specialists are going to be a big part of Black Ops 3, the beta will feature 8 of the multiplayer characters. Â These characters have special weapons and abilities that can be unlocked during multiplayer matches. Â It’s certainly something different for the Call of Duty franchise. Â The announcement also holds a new reveal for those who’ve been following along thus far. Â A new female specialist has been revealed, though all the specifics about her are still murky.
Further, the beta will also include the new paintshop and weapon customization features. Â You can check out the trailer below which shows off some new gameplay as well.
The Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Beta is slated to begin on August 19th for those who pre-order the game for PlayStation 4. Â Other platforms will also get a beta, after a brief period of exclusivity.
