The Call of Duty World League Championship will take place this weekend and the tournament is anyone’s for the taking.  The tournament will be played from August 14- 18th in Los Angeles, CA.  The first two days of the tournament (August 14-15)  will feature all 32-teams who will compete in a double elimination bracket to halve the field.

Then, on August 16-18 the sixteen team remaining field will battle it out to be champions.  The 2019 Season saw multiple winners over the last year, with OpTic Gaming winning the CWL Las Vegas Open, Luminosity Gaming winning CWL Fort Worth, and 100 Thieves Winning CWL London and CWL Anaheim.   It’s also worth noting that while they have not won, Gen.G has reached the Grand Finals of two recent events so they could also be a dark horse in Los Angeles.  As could be eUnited who placed second in Las Vegas while winning the CWL Finals.

Regardless, it is anyone’s game at CWL Los Angeles this weekend.  The games will be broadcast throughout the tournament on the Call of Duty Twitch Channel, and if you want to see it in person you can do so at the UCLA Pauley Pavilion though you’ll need a ticket.
