Capcom has now officially announced it is releasing Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster for multiple consoles next year.

Pictured above is the actual first screenshot from Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster. The game will be available for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. No date has been given yet, but an early 2016 release window was announced.

Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster looks like it will be one of the many games Capcom plans to re-release for the foreseeable future. Capcom announced earlier this month that its HD remakes have been really successful. They already re-released the original Resident Evil game plus games from the Devil May Cry franchise too.

Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster will allow new gamers to experience the 2002 Gamecube classic. Not a lot of people managed to play the original game, so this re-release isn’t that bad. The main characters for the game are Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen. Both characters are playable and you can switch between the two.

Resident Evil Zero was well received back in 2002. This HD Remaster should also do some good numbers. Resident Evil HD was successful for Capcom and the company hopes its other re-releases are also popular.
