Captain America: Civil War is the next movie in the highly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will pit many of the heroes we know against one another on teams led by Captain America and Iron Man respectively. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is regarded by many to be the best movie in the MCU and it sounds like Captain America: Civil War may be even better.
Captain America: Civil War is in the process of doing a few reshoots right now, but that isn’t stopping Marvel Studios from putting the movie before test audiences.
According to BirthMoviesDeath’s Devin Faraci, who is very well connected to those in the industry, the initial reactions are incredibly positive according to at least five sources in the industry.
Faraci goes one step further to say that the only disagreement from people after seeing is if it’s better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the best testing Marvel movie to date, which is certainly a lot to live up to.
He also discusses how the biggest concern with Marvel was that the third act is too dark, but hopefully the excellent reactions from test audiences will keep them from changing anything while going through the reshoots.
With talk like this, you have to wonder if we could see some major deaths coming in the final act of Captain America: Civil War. We’ll have to wait and find out when it releases on May 6.
