Captain America: Civil War Leads Into Avengers: Infinity War

It looks like the events that take place in Captain America: Civil War are leading up to the big showdown in Avengers: Infinity War.

Chris Evans (Captain America) was recently interviewed by MTV News. He called Captain America: Civil War is not an Avengers type movie. It’s just a “jump off into Avengers: Infinity War“. Captain America: Civil War sets up for the real battle that will culminate in Avengers: Infinity War.

Evans also teased that a lot of characters will be in Captain America: Civil War. Apart from himself, we know that Iron Man, Falcon, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Winter Soldier and even Spider-Man will all be in this movie.

If Captain America: Civil War truly does set up the events for Avengers: Infinity War, it would be interesting to see if the movie has many other characters that have not been announced yet. The Infinity Gauntlet comic book has so many characters that I cannot name. The comic even has characters from rival studios such as the X-Men and The Fantastic Four. It’s unlikely they will be in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War movie as 20th Century Fox might not strike a deal like Sony did with Spider-Man.
