Hasbro has finally revealed that it will be releasing a new Spider-Man toy based on the character’s appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Sadly though, it won’t be available just yet.
ComicBookMovie.com posted the Spider-Man toy that you can see above. He is a part of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line and he will be a in a three-pack that also includes Captain America and Iron Man.
The only disappointing news is that we won’t see this Spider-Man toy until three months after Captain America: Civil War comes out. This three-pack is expected to be released in August which is odd as hype for the film is happening right now.
Spidey merchandise might be rolling out in August to coincide with the release of the Blu-ray of the film. Spider-Man does have a decent part in the movie and is both funny and helpful during the movie’s epic airport fight.
The new Spidey will be in his own film next year called Spider-Man: Homecoming. Many people are excited to see it as it will be the first time that Marvel actually has creative control over a solo movie featuring the character. Some people didn’t like Sony’s efforts for straying too far from the comic books.
