Today CD Projekt Red has announced their next game, and as no surprise, it’s Cyberpunk fashioned RPG.  What is surprising is that CD Projekt is adapting the actual Cyberpunk pen and paper role-playing game from the 80’s into a video game with all the hallmarks of CD Projekt title.

In their summer conference, CD Projekt revealed that Cyberpunk would be just as mature an offering as The Witcher series has been, and feature similar branching storylines where your choices can affect the outcome of the game.  The developer was stingy with the details about the upcoming RPG, but if this role playing title is half as good as Assassin’s of Kings is, gamers definitely have another title to look forward to.

That’s not all the developer is up to at this point either.  The commercial success of their last RPG on the PC and console releases has given the studio the opportunity to work on two titles simultaneously, but weren’t forthcoming with the details on the second game.  It’s rumored to be a follow up to The Witcher 2, but that’s just speculation.

Look for more details on this RPG as they become available.
