The much awaited Deadpool film is set to release in theaters tomorrow, which has been garnering excellent reviews thus far with a 81% rating on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing. While there is no tie-in game coming right now, a remaster of the last-gen game came out a few months ago and the Xbox One Games Store has a great deal for it this week in honor of the release.

Deadpool released only a few years ago for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, which received mostly mediocre reviews at the time, largely due to the short length of the game.

Then we were shocked by the surprise announcement of a remaster for Deadpool on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 that came out this past November, which is currently on sale at 40% off for $30 on the Xbox One Games Store as part of this week’s Deals With Gold, according to Major Nelson. The only stipulation is that you must be an Xbox Live Gold member to get this special price on the game.

That is not the only game on sale this week though, as they also have a good deal on Mortal Kombat X at 45% off, for those that don’t want to wait for Mortal Kombat XL. In addition, the Xbox 360 version of Deadpool is also on sale.

While the Deadpool game only got mediocre reviews, it is the only game starring the character out there, and I’m sure plenty of you will be in the mood to play a Deadpool game after seeing the movie when it comes out on Friday, especially with the discounted price.

All of the sales this week will last through next Monday, February 15, so don’t miss out.
